Membership Rules of Conduct
Effective Date: January 1, 2019 (Updated 2025)
The Crown and Collar Society is a private, invitation-only social and educational organization. Our events are curated to foster respectful community interaction, artful kink expression, and consensual BDSM education. We do not operate or permit our venues to be used for prostitution, lewdness, or any activity that violates the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
-
No sex acts are permitted at any event in exchange for money, gifts, services, or under expectation of compensation.
-
No member, guest, or third party may solicit or advertise sexual services on behalf of themselves or others at any event or on Society-managed platforms.
-
Events are not designed, intended, or advertised as sexual meetups or hookup spaces. Any behavior that suggests transactional or exploitative sexual arrangements will result in immediate expulsion and potential referral to law enforcement.
Core Community Values
-
Consent: Every interaction—verbal, physical, or energetic—requires explicit, informed, and enthusiastic consent.
-
Communication: Members will express their desires and boundaries with honesty, clarity, and respect.
-
Responsibility: Members are accountable for their choices, their energy, and the safety of those around them.
I. CONSENT AND PLAY CONDUCT
-
Consent must be verbally reestablished for each interaction and each event. No consent is ever implied or carried over.
-
No touching of any person or their belongings—human or inanimate—without prior approval.
-
No one may join or encroach upon a play scene without clear, prior consent from all participants.
-
No one is entitled to attention, touch, or interaction. Declining an offer does not require justification.
-
“No” means “no.” Only a verbal “yes” qualifies as consent.
II. SAFETY AND SCENE EXPECTATIONS
-
Only consenting adults age 18+ may participate in any scene.
-
All play must reflect one of the following frameworks: SSC, RACK, or PRICK.
-
Safe words or gestures must be agreed upon before any scene begins.
-
Aftercare is sacred space. The aftercare room is a quiet zone, not a social lounge.
-
Extreme or dangerous edge play is prohibited, including:
-
Scat, vomit, body suspension via hooks, scarification, bloodletting, or any activity risking unconsciousness.
-
Physical fights, primal takedowns, or forced dominance rituals.
-
III. DECORUM AND ETIQUETTE
-
Respect the ambiance. This is not a party club—it is an intentional gathering.
-
No intoxication. Members who drink to excess or display impaired judgment will be escorted out.
-
No illegal drug use. THC may be used only in outdoor designated areas, never exposed indoors.
-
Discretion is absolute. Sharing venue addresses or details of members/scenes is grounds for immediate termination.
-
Personal hygiene, attire, and energy should reflect the refinement and intentionality of this community.
IV. TECHNOLOGY, CONTENT, AND PRIVACY
-
Phones remain out of sight during events. Use them only in approved lobby areas.
-
No personal photography or video.
-
All content creation (photos, clips, reels) must be pre-approved and occur in designated spaces only.
-
Content creation must never interfere with the scene experience of others. Members take precedence over content.
V. GUESTS AND MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
-
Guests must be pre-approved and are the responsibility of the member hosting them.
-
All members must pass a background check. Registered sex offenders are strictly banned.
-
Membership is a privilege, not a right. The Society may terminate membership for any behavior that violates the culture or safety of the space.

VII. USE OF VENUES AND SPACES
-
All venues used by the Crown and Collar Society are leased or contracted for the purpose of lawful social, artistic, and educational gathering.
-
No private room, designated play space, or gathering area shall be used to facilitate criminal conduct or violations of public decency law.
-
Any member found using our venues in violation of these principles may be banned and reported to the appropriate authorities.

VIII. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY AND INTENT
-
The Society is not responsible for private interactions that occur between members outside of its official events or digital platforms. Our duty of care and conduct enforcement applies solely within the scope of our curated, supervised environments.
