Crown and Collar Society

Consideration & Participation Terms

Effective August 30, 2026: These Terms apply to Requests for Consideration submitted and admissions extended under Crown & Collar Society's current model on or after August 30, 2026. Prior membership arrangements remain subject to the terms and transition communications applicable to those arrangements.

1. About Crown & Collar Society

Crown & Collar Society (“Crown & Collar” or the “Society”) is a privately curated social community operated by Crown and Collar Society, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“Manager”). The Society exists to cultivate meaningful connection through thoughtfully curated social, culinary, cultural, and experiential gatherings. Participation in the Society is intentionally selective and is governed by these Terms and the Society's Rules of Conduct, each as amended from time to time.

2. Request for Consideration

Individuals interested in being considered for admission to the Society may submit a Request for Consideration.

Submission of a Request for Consideration begins a discretionary review process and does not guarantee admission to the Society, participation in any experience, receipt of an invitation, or any other benefit or opportunity.

Because chemistry, character, discretion, and community fit cannot necessarily be determined through a written submission alone, Crown & Collar may use additional methods of consideration at its discretion. These may include conversations, introductions, attendance at open gatherings, in-person interactions, referrals, or other opportunities for Crown & Collar and the applicant to become acquainted.

There is no guaranteed timeline or prescribed sequence for the consideration process.

3. Consideration Fee

A one-time $100 consideration fee is required to initiate the formal consideration process. The consideration fee supports the administrative time, infrastructure, review, and other costs associated with considering prospective participants and maintaining the Society. Payment does not purchase admission to the Society, membership, event access, invitations, tickets, services, amenities, or any other future benefit.

Of the $100 consideration fee, $50 is nonrefundable once formal consideration begins. If Crown & Collar completes its consideration process and affirmatively determines not to extend admission, the remaining $50 will be refunded.

No refund will be due if an applicant withdraws from consideration, fails to respond or participate in the consideration process, or otherwise abandons their request.

4. Admission to the Society

Admission is extended solely at the discretion of Crown & Collar. Admission does not create a contractual entitlement to any particular experience, frequency of gatherings, invitation, service, amenity, or future opportunity. There are no recurring membership dues associated with admission under the current model.

Crown & Collar may determine the size and composition of the Society at its discretion and may pause or discontinue consideration of new applicants at any time.

5. Experiences & Invitations

Crown & Collar creates experiences at its discretion. The Society does not maintain or guarantee a minimum schedule, number, type, or frequency of experiences. Some gatherings, including designated Cocktail Soirées, may be made available to the broader community. Other experiences may be privately curated and offered only to selected individuals.

Admission to the Society means an individual may be considered for future invitations; it does not guarantee invitations.

Crown & Collar may curate each experience based upon factors including the nature of the experience, venue capacity, group composition, chemistry, interests, availability, and other considerations determined appropriate by the Society.

An individual who is not invited to a particular experience should not interpret the absence of an invitation as termination or exclusion from the Society.

6. Event Costs

Unless expressly stated otherwise, admission to the Society does not include the cost of participation in any Crown & Collar experience. Invited guests may be required to purchase tickets, pay participation costs, contribute toward shared expenses, or otherwise pay the stated cost associated with a particular experience.

Pricing, cancellation terms, refund policies, guest allowances, and other requirements may vary by experience and will be communicated separately where applicable.

7. Guests

Whether guests may accompany an invited participant will be determined separately for each experience. An invitation does not include a right to bring a partner, spouse, friend, or other guest unless expressly stated. This preserves your ability to say +1, +3, nobody, or bring this particular fascinating person depending on the dinner.

8. Rules of Conduct

Participation in Crown & Collar gatherings is subject to the Society's Rules of Conduct. Crown & Collar may revise its Rules of Conduct from time to time. Individuals participating in Society experiences are responsible for complying with the version applicable at the time of participation.

9. Continued Participation

Admission to Crown & Collar is not permanent or irrevocable. Crown & Collar reserves the right, in its discretion, to discontinue an individual's participation in the Society or eligibility for future invitations when it determines that continued participation is inconsistent with the Society's values, standards, culture, safety, or community interests. No refund, compensation, or other payment shall be due solely because an individual's participation in the Society or eligibility for future invitations is discontinued.

10. Changes to the Society

Crown & Collar is intentionally designed to evolve. The Society may change, suspend, discontinue, add, or modify its experiences, consideration process, operating model, policies, or other aspects of the Society at any time. Nothing in these Terms obligates Crown & Collar to continue operating indefinitely or to offer any particular experience, service, opportunity, or level of activity.

11. Release of Liability

Participation in Crown & Collar Society experiences is voluntary and may involve activities occurring at restaurants, private residences, hospitality venues, outdoor locations, or other properties owned or operated by third parties. By participating in a Crown & Collar experience, each participant acknowledges and voluntarily assumes the ordinary risks associated with the experience and agrees that Crown & Collar Society, LLC, its organizers, officers, agents, and representatives will not be responsible for injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

Crown & Collar does not control and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, conditions, products, services, or operations of independent venues, vendors, transportation providers, or other third parties involved in an experience. Participants remain responsible for their own conduct, personal property, transportation, health and safety decisions, and compliance with any requirements established by the applicable venue or third-party provider. Additional waivers, acknowledgments, or terms may apply to particular experiences and may be required as a condition of participation.
